What are your opening hours?

We are open Tuesdays through Fridays 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for your lift chair and mobility scooter needs. If you need extra one-on-one attention, we schedule private appointments on Mondays.

Do you bill Medicare?

NOTICE TO MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES

Medicare will pay for medical equipment and supplies only if a supplier has a Medicare supplier number. We do not have a Medicare supplier number. Medicare will not pay for any medical equipment and supplies we sell or rent to you. You will be personally and fully responsible for payment.

Do you take all insurances?

We do not currently take insurance because many of our products are not billable to insurance. Some insurance companies MAY allow you to buy the product from us and submit a form for reimbursement.

Do you have payment options?

Our WHY is to match the right product with our clients’ needs. Sometimes you cannot afford a mobility scooter, access ramp, stair lift, or lift chair and do not qualify through insurance. We have several financing options, including a local credit union, that can help you. If you need a mobility scooter now, we may be able to set up a monthly repayment program for you. Call us today to learn more.

What mobility scooter brands do you sell?
We are official dealers for Pride Mobility, Golden Tecnologies, Drive and eWheels products. We stock and service all these brands. We also service other brands if we are able to get replacement parts. Some of our scooters can travel at 15 miles an hour with an approximate distance of 40 miles per charge! See our scooter range here
Do you have an online store?

Yes, we do. However, at this time, we do not ship products. You can order for store pick-up or call us and we may be able to deliver locally. Check out our lift chairs, stair lifts, and more at our online store: http://shop.centralstatesmobility.com

What’s the difference between a rollator and a walker?

Rollators have 4 wheels to help move the device. If you can walk but need a little help with balance and stability, this may be ideal for you. Walkers either have no wheels or have 2 wheels on the front. These take a little extra effort to lift and move forward, so they are best for people who cannot put their full weight on their legs and need some extra support. If you have very limited mobility, a mobility scooter may be a better option than a rollator or walker. Thanks for reading – FAQ – Central States Mobility

What’s the difference between a mobility scooter and a power chair?

This is a great question! In general a power chair has a joystick control and can turn in very tight radii. A mobility scooter has two back wheels, one or two at the front and a steering tiller. Visit our store and take a look at the differences for yourself. We promise that there will be no pressure from our sales team and no obligation to purchase a mobility scooter or power chair.

Why do I need a reclining lift chair?
We all know how nice it is to recline and watch TV or take a nap, but how easy is it to get back out of the chair? The lift function on our recliners raises the chair closer to your natural standing position, therefore taking the strain from your knees and arms. Not all lift chairs are the same and they are not one-size-fits-all. We match your body shape and size with the correct chair. We have several on display and hope you have time to come in and see for yourself. See our Reclining Lift Chairs here
